About Blockchain at UCLA

Blockchain at UCLA advances the eponymous technology within the UCLA academic community because we believe in its world-changing potential.

Our student-led initiative provides the entire UCLA community—student and faculty, undergraduate and graduate—with opportunities for education, research, and community-building through lecture, analysis, and experiential learning.

We exist to advance access to blockchain knowledge, the stature of the university in the field, and the frontier of the field itself.

Core Goals

A core goal of ours is educating UCLA students and preparing them for roles in academia and industry. Every quarter we run an education series focused on blockchain from both the business and technical perspectives.

Our courses are designed and taught by students, giving members an opportunity to hone their understanding by teaching their peers.

We want to tie real-world perspectives into our education program. Every week, we host events with companies to supplement our education series and expose members to all the facets of blockchain.
